The Sūrah al-Kahf is 110 verses, and it makkiyah.

In the Name of Allah the Rahman, the Rahīm.

{الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَنْزَلَ عَلَى عَبْدِهِ الْكِتَابَ وَلَمْ يَجْعَلْ لَهُ عِوَجَا (١) قَيِّمًا لِيُنْذِرَ بَأْسًا شَدِيدًا مِنْ لَدُنْهُ وَيُبَشِّرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ الَّذِينَ يَعْمَلُونَ الصَّالِحَاتِ أَنَّ لَهُمْ أَجْرًا حَسَنًا (٢) }{الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَنْزَلَ عَلَى عَبْدِهِ الْكِتَابَ}

Allāh praised Himself for His Favors upon His Creation and singled out His Prophet, Salutations of Allāh and His Peace upon him by the źikr (mentioning of “His Servant”) because the revelation of the Quran to him is a favor for him exclusively while it is a favor to the rest of humanity generally.

{وَلَمْ يَجْعَلْ لَهُ عِوَجًا} {قَيِّمًا}

In it is taqdīm (bringing forward of the verse “and he did not made an ‘iwaj attributed to it”) and ta’khīr (delaying of “qayyiman”), meaning: He revealed to His servant the Book in a qayyīm fashion and he did not made an ‘iwaj attributed to it. Qayyim means mustaqīm (i.e. straight). Ibnu ‘Abbās said: ‘adl (just). al-Farrā’ said: qayyim over all the Books, i.e. as a muśaddiq (authenticator) for them, a nāsikh (abrogator) of its’ syarī’ah. Qatadah said it is not on the basis of ta’khīr and taqdīm, rather it means: He revealed the Book to His servant, and He did not made an ‘iwaj attributed to it, but he made it qayyīm and it is not different to His Saying: “If it is from other than Allāh, they would surely find in it many inconsistencies” (an-Nisā’:82). It is said: it’s meaning is He did not made it a makhlūq (creation). It is narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas with regard to His Saying: An Arabic Qur’ān, unlike a possessor of ‘iwaj (az-Zumar: 28) which is: unlike a makhlūq.

{لِيُنْذِرَ بَأْسًا شَدِيدًا}

Which is to warn about a severe ba’s (torment).

{مِنْ لَدُنْهُ}

Which means, from him

{وَيُبَشِّرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ الَّذِينَ يَعْمَلُونَ الصَّالِحَاتِ أَنَّ لَهُمْ أَجْرًا حَسَنًا}

which is the garden (jannah).
