بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ
Construction Level Analysis
1. The jār wa al-majrūr, i.e. “bi ism”, is muta’alliq with a mahźūf. The bā here is for ilśāq or for isti’ānah. The taqdīr of the mahźūf, therefore is either (a) abtadi’u (I began), the jār and majrūr is therefore in the position of naśb which is a maf’ūl bihi that is muqaddam or (b) ibtidā’ī (My beginning), the jār wa al-majrūr is therefore mut’alliq to a mahźūf khabar of the mahźūf mubtadā’. Both (a) and (b) are jayyid.
2. The lafzh al-jalālah is mudhāf ilaih.
3. ar-Rahmān and ar-Rahīm are two śifah of Allāh Most High.
